RunParty is an app for running, hiking and riding together: people host routes, others join, and clubs bring runners together. It is made by an independent developer. By using RunParty you agree to these terms. How your data is handled is in the privacy policy.
Who can use RunParty
- You must be 18 or older.
- One person per account. Keep your phone and any linked Google or Apple account safe; what is done from your account is your responsibility.
Community rules
Names, profile photos, club photos, route descriptions and chat messages are seen by other runners. Do not post or send:
- harassment, threats, bullying or hate against anyone, including for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age;
- sexual or violent content, or anything that sexualises or endangers children;
- spam, ads, scams, or routes made to lure people somewhere unsafe;
- someone else's private information, or pretending to be someone else;
- anything illegal, or that encourages dangerous behaviour.
You keep the rights to what you post. You let RunParty store and show it to the runners it is meant for, only to run the app.
Reporting and blocking
- You can block any runner and report a runner (from their profile, also reached by tapping their name in a chat) or a route in the app. Blocked runners no longer reach you.
- Reports are reviewed by the developer. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and accounts that break them can be suspended or deleted, without warning when the harm is serious.
- You can also write to us (below).
Meeting safely
- RunParty helps people meet in person. The developer does not check who runners are and is not present at routes. Meet in public places, tell someone where you are going, and leave if you feel unsafe.
- Running, hiking and riding carry risks. Know your own health and limits, check the weather and the route, follow traffic and park rules, and wear what keeps you safe. Routes, distances, climbs and forecasts in the app can be wrong.
- Hosts describe their routes honestly and cancel in the app if plans change.
Child safety
RunParty does not allow child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind. Any such content or behaviour is removed at once, the accounts involved are deleted, and it is reported to the authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and the police in the country concerned, as the law requires. To report it, use Report in the app or write to support@runparty.app; the developer is the contact for child safety questions.
Purchases
- RunParty is free. RunParty Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks more hosted routes and clubs, videos without the RunParty mark and a supporter badge. You choose the price from the amounts offered; every amount unlocks the same Pro.
- Tips are a thank-you to the developer and add a supporter badge; they unlock nothing else.
- Payments and refunds go through Google Play or the App Store under their own rules. If a purchase is refunded, what it unlocked is removed.
Your account
- You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile, Settings, Delete my account).
- The app can change, and features can be added or removed. If RunParty ever closes, we will say so in the app ahead of time where possible.
No guarantees
RunParty is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, the developer is not responsible for what happens at routes or between runners, for the accuracy of maps, routes and forecasts, or for losses from using the app. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted on this page and the date at the top changes too. Using the app after a change means you accept it.
Law
These terms follow the laws of the Republic of Korea, without taking away the protections of the law where you live.
